A ScholarSupport Campaign

Health knowledge shouldn't depend on your zip code.

We bring free, plain-language health lessons, in-person workshops, and food and resource support to students and communities that don't have easy access to health information.

What we do

ScholarSupport's health literacy campaign works alongside our education programs to meet a community's needs beyond the classroom.

In-person workshops

Student and volunteer-led sessions that walk families and community groups through practical health topics, in the languages they speak at home.

Free health lessons

Downloadable, plain-language materials on everyday health topics, written to be understood without a medical background.

Food & resource support

Meals, water, books, and other basic resources provided alongside our lessons, because health knowledge is hard to use on an empty stomach.

Who it's for

This campaign is built for two groups: the students who help run it, and the rural community members it reaches.

Students

High school and college students looking to lead workshops, translate materials, or organize a health lesson drive in their own community.

Rural community volunteers

Local volunteers who help distribute materials, host workshops, and connect neighbors to food and resource support.
